Children's Swimming Lessons
The East Riding Learn to Swim Scheme awards have been designed to encourage children and young people to learn the core skills of each individual award stage, as well as ensure that they have fun in whatever aquatic sports they enter into.
At the end of each stage, badges and certificates can be purchased at reception. To view the badges which can be achieved and for information about the different stages, please click on the link below:

How to Apply:
Please download the Swimming Lesson application form for any of the courses detailed below. Children can be inserted onto the waiting lists for pre-school from the age of 3 years, and Grade 1 once in full time education. Children wanting to access grades 2-10 need to contact the centre to arrange a pre-assessment. Every effort is made to place children in lessons within 10 weeks.

Crash course intensive swimming lessons are offered at most sites during school holidays, Monday – Friday, various times, various grades. Please download the holiday flyer for more details.
School Swimming Lessons
During term time local schools use our pools for swimming lessons. Between Monday and Friday the small pool is closed to public use until 12.00 noon and part of the main pool is sectioned off between 9.00am and 12.00 noon.
